This class takes place every Wednesday from 6 pm to 7 pm in person at The Hermitage,

3650 E. 46th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46205.

Our goal at the Hermitage is to promote meditation as a path toward inner peace. In this class, you will learn the first principles of what mindfulness meditation is and its benefits. It combines cutting-edge science and ancient spirituality into a comprehensive understanding of the mind and its functions. The intention of this course is to help participants begin or sustain a meditation practice. Either through participation in group meditations or on their own.

The class rotates through four sections. Participants may start in whichever section is being taught that week.

  • Section one: Relax and recharge, going deeper and deeper with concentration power.
  • Section two: See, Hear and Feel better, Rewarding skillful use of the senses.
  • Section three: Mindfulness in the wild, Everyday meditation for life.
  • Section Four: Nurturing positivity for intentional happiness
