Mindful Self-Compassion: A Path to Emotional Well-Being with Dr John Guare
Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is a practice that combines mindfulness and self-compassion to enhance emotional well-being. It encourages individuals to treat themselves with kindness during difficult times, fostering resilience and emotional health.
Core Components
Mindfulness: Involves being aware of the present moment without judgement, allowing individuals to recognize their thoughts and feelings.
Self-Compassion: Encourages treating oneself with the same kindness and understanding one would offer a friend, especially during moments of suffering or failure.
Research indicates that MSC is linked to improved mental health, greater emotional resilience, and better relationships.
Dr. Guare will demonstrate how to apply MSC in your daily life.
